Here are some of the healthy recipe you can take in your daily life.
Bitter gourd chips:
- Wash two bitter gourd and cut them into thin and equal slices. Take out seeds from middle of the bitter gourd.
- In a bowl, add sliced bitter gourd and add 1 spoon of turmeric powder, 1spoon of chili powder, 2 spoon of curd, 1 spoon of lemon juice and mix well.
- Then add gram flour and rice flour. Mix well to coat.
- Heat the pan, add oil and fry the bitter gourd on medium heat and transfer to plate.
Bitter gourd juice:
- Wash the bitter gourd and cut into slices. Remove the seeds from the bitter gourd.
- Blend the bitter gourd with 1 small piece of ginger, 2 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1/4 of salt, 2 tablespoon honey.
- Add required water and blend to smooth. Strain the juice. Finally garnish with mint leaves.
Bitter gourd curry:
- Heat the pan, add 3 tablespoon of oil, 150g chopped bitter gourd and salt. Fry till it turns slightly crisp and transfer to plate.
- In the pan, add 1/2 spoon of mustard, 1/4 teaspoon of cumin, 100g of chopped onion, 10-15 garlic cloves and curry leaves. Saute till onion turns soft.
- Then add 1 chopped tomato and saute well. Add 1 teaspoon of chili powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder, 1 teaspoon of sambhar powder, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder and saute well.
- Add tamarind juice of small lemon size and add required water. Add the bitter gourd and mix well. Cook for 10-15 minutes in low flame.
- Finally add required salt and salt amount of gagger in it. Mix well and transfer to bowl.
Cheese stuffed Bitter gourd:
- In large pan, add 2 cup of water, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder and a little salt. Mix and boil it.
- Wash 3-4 bitter gourd and cut into half. Remove the inner seed. Put them in boiled water and boil them for 5-7 min. Drain the water. Allow the bitter gourd to cool. Meanwhile make the filling.
- In a bowl add cheese, red chili powder, salt, turmeric, chat masala and garam masala.
- Fill the mixture in the bitter gourd evenly. Heat the pan, add oil in it. When the oil heat, put the stuffed bitter gourd and fry until it changes to brown color. Transfer to plate.
How do you make bitter gourd without bitter taste?
Cut the bitter gourd into 2 half and rub the salt over the bitter gourd and let it stay for 20-30 minuets. Then cook the bitter gourd or extract the juice from bitter gourd to avoid bitter taste.
